I don’t understand what to say when complemented…
I won’t lie, who doesn’t love getting complements? They make you feel good about yourself, and like you did something praiseworthy. It’s the awkward part after that I hate… What are you supposed to say in response? Thank you makes it seem like you are prideful and boasting, but if you say no, then they keep saying you are good at whatever you are good at. So then what are you supposed to say? What if you really did try hard and put in a lot of effort? Then what?
